Helsingborgs Hockey Club är stolta över att kunna presentera Nasya Diandra som den första spelaren i föreningens damsatsning inför säsongen 2026/2027.
Nasya har en minst sagt unik hockeyresa bakom sig. Hon är uppvuxen i Jakarta, Indonesien, och tog sina första skridskoskär som 10 åring i världens största stads enda ishall, som dessutom var inrymd i en shoppinggalleria. Trots de begränsade möjligheterna i hemlandet försvann aldrig drömmen om att nå en högre nivå inom hockeyn.
När möjligheterna att utvecklas vidare på hemmaplan tog slut tog hon kontakt med flera europeiska klubbar och fick till slut chansen i Timrå IK. Där blev hon den första indonesiska spelaren att ta steget till professionell ishockey.
Under den gångna säsongen representerade den 21-åriga forwarden Timrå IK och spelade matcher i såväl U19 Region, NDHL och framförallt HockeyAllsvenskan Dam.

– Jag är väldigt positiv till att Nasya signat med oss inför den kommande säsongen. Vi följde henne under föregående säsong och såg en hårt arbetande forward med en mycket positiv inställning. Med de egenskaperna är jag övertygad om att hon kommer att bli ett värdefullt tillskott, både till laget och till vår verksamhet som helhet.

Welcome to Helsingborg, Nasya! What made you decide to join Helsingborg HC and become part of our new women’s team?
– I was excited by the ambition of building a new women’s team and the opportunity to be part of it from the very beginning. It’s a great challenge, and I’m looking forward to helping the team grow and creating something special together.
You’ve had a very unique hockey journey coming from Indonesia. How did you discover ice hockey, and what made you fall in love with the sport?
– I started playing hockey at the only ice rink in Indonesia, which is inside a shopping mall. Since hockey is such an uncommon sport in my country. I was immediately drawn to it and kept pushing myself to improve. Even without having a women’s team, i kept believing i could go far with hockey because of the love of sport. The journey eventually brought me to become the first indonesian born player playing professionally in Europe and now for my second season in Sweden to Helsingborg, Sweden.
What kind of player are you, and what do you think you can bring to the team both on and off the ice?
– I’m a competitive player who enjoys creating plays and contributing offensively, whether that’s setting up my teammates or scoring myself. I always put the team first and want to bring positive energy, hard work, and help build a strong sisterhood within the team.
